A bit about me!
Howdy! My name is Savannah Baker, and I am a CFI-I from Hallettsville, Texas! (34R)
My journey as a pilot began in 2012, when my father gifted me my first flight in a Cessna 150, whom we lovingly nicknamed “Mudhen.” I was eleven years old and even then, I knew I was meant to be a pilot. Just a short 13 years later and here I am, a recent graduate of Parks College of Aviation and Engineering, a flight instructor for a company I adore, a secretary for the Women in Aviation’s Austin Chapter, and a volunteer and Board Member at my very own alma mater - the Texas Barnstorming Museum.
In teaching the skills that got me off the ground, I hope not only share the passion I have for this industry with my students, but to also continue rebuilding the rich traditions that defined and distinguished generation of aviators. These skills have done more than simply highlight my own career as a pilot—they’ve made me into a better aviator, a better individual, and (hopefully, on behalf of my students) a better instructor.
Imagine what they could do for you.
I hope to see you in the cockpit!
